A Message to Healthcare Providers
Please click here for a detailed explanation of our services. All sessions are performed by our certified ultrasound technologist and include limited diagnostic scans to determine the number of babies, location of the placenta, and to check the baby’s position and heart rate. This information is then given to our Medical Director for review. The limited diagnostic report is available to your health care provider upon request.

**Please note:
Women seeking an elective prenatal ultrasound with Johnson County Ultrasound must provide us with a prescription for this service and already be receiving treatment with a healthcare provider for prenatal care. They must also have already undergone a medical diagnostic ultrasound ordered by their provider to confirm their due date, screen for fetal anomalies and to look for any other pregnancy related issues. During the elective prenatal ultrasound session, we will be conducting a limited diagnostic scan to confirm heartbeat, the number of babies in the pregnancy, the position of the baby and the placental location. At no time is this exam to be used in place of a complete diagnostic ultrasound.
